There are two ways to find Bortz Library's eBooks.
1. Locate individual eBook records in the library's online catalog.
2. Go directly to Ebook Central or the EBSCO eBook Collection database websites, and search for books.
It is possible to download or "check-out" entire e-books from ebrary (14 days) and the EbscoHost eBook Collection (7 days).
First, download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer. Adobe Digital Editions is a free software program that is required to download entire e-books from ebrary. It handles the digital rights management for the e-book; monitors the download-time-period and causes the e-book to become unreadable after the indicated time period. In addition to downloading Adobe Digital Editions, you must create an Adobe ID if you do not already have one.
Second, in ebrary or EbscoHost, you must register for a free account, and then sign in before you can download an e-book.
Note: ebrary offers apps for the iPhone and iPad from the Itunes App Store and for Andriod devices from Google Play. (You will still need an ebrary account and Adobe ID to use the app).
