H-SC Lottery Tickets, 1777
This collection consists of thirteen lottery tickets that were part of a fundraising scheme in 1777 on behalf of Hampden-Sydney College. Each ticket has its own unique identifying number (handwritten), a typed paragraph that is the same for each ticket, and then the name of the ticket seller (handwritten).
