Use this EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) search box to search through all of the library's databases at once. Remember to use search filters (found on the search results page) to narrow your results down.

Subject-Specific Databases

The databases listed below are recommended for Philosophy research. Some - like the Philosopher's Index - may not provide full-text access to all articles. However, an index is an excellent place to find articles relevant to your research, and you can use Interlibrary Loan services to get full-text access to any articles that you want.

Acurrent and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy. The Philosopher’s Index contains research published since 1940 including over 680 journals from more than 50 countries with content representing a variety of languages.

The complete backfile of a core of scholarly journals that have been digitized, starting with the very first issues, many of which date from the 1800s.
