- Smithsonian Libraries and Archives The Smithsonian Libraries and the Smithsonian Institution Archives collections include over two million library volumes in subjects ranging from art to zoology. Consisting of more than forty-four thousand cubic feet, our archival records chronicle the growth and development of the Smithsonian throughout its history.

- GovInfo - Help Searching Specific CollectionsIn addition to providing access to a wide variety of government publications, GovInfo provides assistance with conducting research using different types of resources and specific collections of government documents.
- Congressionally Mandated ReportsCongressionally mandated reports are defined as those reports that are required by statute to be submitted by Federal agencies to the Senate, the House of Representatives, or to congressional committees or subcommittees. Agencies must now also submit these reports electronically to the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) after first submitting to Congress, committees, or subcommittees as they do currently.
- FDLP Resource GuidesThese guides provide information about the Federal Government and the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). There are two types of guides: Subject and FDLP Information. “Subject Guides” explore a variety of topics that concern the Federal Government for the general public. “FDLP Information Guides” contain resources and guidance for Federal Depository Libraries about operations and services.
